Rendell Leads Swann in Latest Poll

Governor Ed Rendell has opened up a 55 – 33 percent lead over Republican "challenger" Lynn Swann, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today. This compares to a 47 – 37 percent Rendell lead in an April 5th survey by the same polling organization. Let's hope those numbers will give Democratic challengers some help in the November general elections in legislative races.

Thank goodness. If Swann wins I would move out of Pennsylvania.

I dunno -- if his poll numbers are too solid, people might feel it's not important to get their vote in there for him, and thus party-line voters might not turn out.

don't really know, just thinkin' aloud.

What do you get when you get one flood + one Democrat? A whole lot of media coverage for free. Unfortunately for PA, not only were there floods, now they've seen Ed posing as some sort of "comforter" as he searched for every camera possible. Sadly, New Orleans is going through the same thing.

Thank you for being one of the people that's going to help keep my taxes high, my roads the worst in the US, and our soldiers overseas from voting. Betcha' don't remeber that fiasco, did you? Add that to being the Master of Ceremonies at a Gay Pride march and WOW! What a GREAT Governor!

It'll be a tough pill to swallow, but at least Santorum will win in the Senate. SOMEBODY'S got to keep this state sane!
